George Lucas laughed and then jokingly said “Planet Stewjon”
though he was kidding at the time, Lucas later made it official Star Wars canon.
He’s George Lucas. He can do that.
Someone should be hired just to tell George “no” when he does stuff like this…if you disagree I turn your attention to the recent re-re-mastering of the Original Trilogy.

Feminist Frequency - Tropes vs. Women: #1 The Manic Pixie Dream Girl
Ive personally never noticed this before, maybe its because I’m too busy enjoying the films rather than analysing the character Archetype. Its interesting and definitely a valid point. Though I couldn’t hep but think, the main female characters in films such as 500 Days of Summer and The Eternal Sunshine Of the Spotless Mind, are vital to the story as a whole, and are interesting and relatable, not just there to be the “Inspiration to the troubled and tortured man”. In what way are the female characters not “real” people? (aside from the fact that they’re fictional characters) Zooey Deschanel’s character in 500 DOS was far more interesting to me than Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s she actually had more of a personality. Also as far back as humans have been human, women been care givers, they’re better at empathising and identifying emotions therefore making the better at dealing with the emotions of others.
